The School of Music will run on a full year calendar, from September to June. Upon starting lessons, we will require payment for your first month, and post dated cheques for the remainder of the year, dated the first of each month. Up to and INCLUDING June 1st, 2005. Visa or Mastercard may also be left on file instead of cheques. YOU ARE NOT LOCKED INTO THIS!
If a student decides to stop taking lessons anytime throughout the Year, we will return the post dated cheques that are left. However, if a student stops halfway into the month, the balance of the month will not be returned. There will be no make-up lessons for students who are unable to attend a scheduled class. However, if a teacher is unable to make it in to teach, a make-up lesson will be given in July or August. Due to the fact we have about 500 students and a waiting list, it is physically impossible to do make-up lessons throughout the year. ALL MAKE-UPS AND CREDITS WILL BE ISSUED IN JULY OR AUGUST ONLY!

Holidays
Any lessons that fall on a Holiday will be given make-up lessons in July or August. No make-ups or credits will be given throughout the year.

Christmas Week
The school will be closed during Christmas and New Year's. From December 22, 2005 to January 1, 2006. The last day of lessons will be Wednesday December 21, 2005, and the first day back will be Monday, January 2, 2006. There will be no make-up lessons made for that time. This insures everyone will receive 3 lessons for the month of December. Keeping in mind there are 3 months a year where there are 5 lessons a month, and we don't charge extra for those, this all works out in the wash, still to your advantage! Christmas Concert
This Years Christmas Concerts, will be held at Walkerville High School, with two separate shows, one on Monday December 19th at 7:00 P.M., second show on Tuesday December 20th at 7:00 P.M., This year there will be Tickets at $5.00 each, all the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the W.C.C.A. program at Walkerville, Tickets will be available at Riverside Music Shop "Front Counter" sometime in November, Students performing in the concert will not need a ticket and instead be given an "All Access Backstage Pass" which will get them in the door.
